Scientists will employ underwater robots to monitor the underwater progress of oil leaking from a damaged oil well in the Gulf of Mexico. The robots, set to be launched by researchers at Mote Marine Center in Sarasota, are about six feet long and are able to not only detect where the oil is but also its likely path.
