Relief may finally be in sight, 106 days after an explosion aboard the Deepwater Horizon oil rig killed 11 workers and caused a massive 4.9-million barrel oil spill. After eight hours of pumping, BP issued a statement Wednesday that ?The well pressure is now being controlled by the hydrostatic pressure of the drilling mud, the desired outcome of the static kill procedure.? – (AHN)
