All major movie studios are now fully invested in 3-D movie projects as they try to replicate a portion of the success realized by 20th Century Fox Studios with “Avatar.” In fact, since 2009, some 30 movies have been released in RealD 3-D format, and 20 more 3-D movies are expected to be released to theaters between now and May 2011.
