Hunter Research and Technology’s free Mac program—MacSAC—tracks deals from 15 online merchants of outdoor gear and apparel, covering both “one deal at a time” sites and daily deals. The software is geared up for a strong holiday shopping season with merchants including REI, Patagonia, Altrec, Moosejaw, Steep and Cheap, Tramdock, and Backcountry.com.
Zevrix Solutions has announced Deliver 2.0.6, a maintenance update to its automated solution to send and share files easily across the Internet and local networks. Deliver lets users send files to remote and local destinations with e-mail notifications, compression, encryption and other powerful capabilities. It supports FTP, Amazon S3, MobileMe and other services, and lets users send files to multiple destinations at once. Deliver also lets users send output files directly from Adobe InDesign.
