(AHN) Catnip oil found to repel biting flies that cost cattle industry billions

Catnip, the plant that attracts and hypnotically intoxicates domestic cats, has proven extremely effective in repelling the blood-sucking flies that attack horses and cows. The tiny pests cost the cattle industry $2 billion annually, but seemingly the cat’s meow may be the cure. – (AHN)
