Shipping lines cancel 25 percent of trips to U.S. due to export slowdown (AHN)

(AHN) – Price hikes from 20 to 50 percent on various merchandise shipments from China to the U.S. had caused a reduction in orders from American importers. As a result, some container shipping lines canceled up to 25 percent of their U.S. trips in spring from Hong Kong and other Chinese ports.
