Timberland Kids’ 6″ Classic Scuffproof Boots recalled

Timberland has issued a voluntary recall on its Timberland Kids’ 6″ Classic Scuffproof Boots in Wheat. Product testing has shown that the surface paint of the stamped logo on the insoles of these boots contain excessive levels of lead. The boots were sold nationwide between June 2009 and October 2009. Timberland has advised consumers to stop wearing the boots.
