OpenDNS sees ISPs begin blocking its service

DNS servers are that part of the Internet that translate domain names like www.yahoo.com into the IP addresses necessary for your computer to reach that site. OpenDNS, founded in 2006 and fmmous for its speed and reliability compared to other DNS servers, can be used in place of your ISP’s DNS servers, with a little work. ISPs, however, are not happy about that, and are actually starting to block OpenDNS.
