U.S. to pay $2.5 million for wiretapping Islamic charity (AHN)

(AHN) – Nine months after declaring the Bush administration’s warrantless surveillance program illegal, a federal judge ordered the government on Tuesday to pay for wiretapping an Islamic charity without a warrant.
