Android credited for less strict Net Neutrality rules on mobile broadband

If you’re wondering why the FCC went easier on mobile wireless broadband operators than wired ISPs with its Net Neutrality rules, you can blame Android for it. In a section titled “Measured Steps for Mobile Broadband” in the FCC’s press release on its Net Neutrality rules, the FCC cited Android as one reason for limited mobile broadband oversight.
