One cable network is about to get a little bit more power. Executives from children?s cable network Nickelodeon and SCG Power Rangers LLC, an affiliate of Saban Brands, have announced plans to bring the 18th season of the high energy franchise ?Power Rangers? to the Nick airwaves. Besides giving Nickelodeon and its affiliate Nicktoons the rights to air the 700+ episodes of the long-running, frequently evolving series, the deal also returns the ?Power Rangers? brand to Haim Saban, who first created the series ?Might Morphin Power Rangers? in 1993. – (AHN)
